How to turn on / off auto-renew
Turning off automatic renewal prevents the next automatic charge. It does not downgrade your account immediately: paid access continues until the expiration date shown under Plans & Billing.
When the paid term expires, Penzu suspends access until you renew or downgrade. You can renew before that date to avoid the interruption.
Turn automatic renewal off
On the full Penzu website:
Select your name in the upper-right corner.
Select Account.
Select Plans & Billing.
Find Auto-Renew and select Turn off.
Turn automatic renewal on
If Auto-Renew is off, use Change Payment Method under Plans & Billing. Choose or add the payment method to use and save it. The account will use that method on its next renewal date.
Automatic renewal versus downgrading now
Choose Change Plan only if you want to change or end the paid plan now. See How to downgrade your account for the steps.
Downgrading to Basic takes effect immediately. Your journals will be merged, and any journal still protected with Encryption Locking will be permanently deleted. Read What happens when I downgrade from Penzu Pro or Pro+ to Penzu Basic? before continuing.
Apple App Store and Google Play subscriptions are managed through their stores. Store cancellation prevents future store renewal but does not by itself downgrade the Penzu account.
