How to view previous versions of your entries

Penzu Pro+ customers can use Versions on the full Penzu website to view earlier saved versions of an entry.

1. Open the entry.

2. Select the Versions control.

3. In Entry Versions, select Preview beside a version.

4. Open Restore.

Then choose one of these actions:

• Create copy creates a separate recovered entry and leaves the current entry unchanged.

• Overwrite current replaces the current entry with the selected version.

When recovering missing content, Create copy is the safer option because it preserves the current entry in case the selected version is not the one you wanted.

Versions are created when an entry is saved to your Penzu account. They cannot recover writing that remained only in a mobile app and never appeared on the full website.
