How to post an entry via email

Penzu Post lets Penzu Pro and Pro+ members create journal entries by email. Each journal has its own Penzu Post address.

Find a journal's address

• On the full Penzu website, open the journal's Settings, select the Settings tab, and find Penzu Post Email. You can start from your journals list.

• In iOS or Android, open Journal Settings and find Email entries to this journal.

Always use the address currently shown for the journal.

Create the entry

Compose a new message to the journal's address:

• The email subject becomes the entry title.

• Text in square brackets in the subject becomes tags and is removed from the title. For example, Weekend trip [travel] [family] creates the title Weekend trip with the tags travel and family.

• The email body becomes the entry body.

• Supported image attachments are added as entry photos.

Penzu Post accepts JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, SVG, and WebP images up to 30 MB each, subject to the normal limit of 30 photos in one entry. Other attachment types are not imported.
