How to change your default journal cover, font, page theme, or pad theme
On the full Penzu website, open your journals list and select the gear for the journal you want to change. The Journal Theme tab contains these settings:
Journal Cover changes the image or color shown for that journal. Basic includes four solid-color covers: red, blue, green, and orange. Pro and Pro+ also include stock or patterned covers and the option to upload a custom cover image.
Font and its size set the journal's default writing font. Available font families depend on your plan.
Page Theme sets the journal's default page or background around an entry.
Pad Theme sets the journal's default writing-pad style.
Select Save Changes after making your choices.
The defaults apply to existing entries as well as new ones:
Changing the journal's default font or size changes every entry whose text is using that journal default. Font formatting applied directly to selected text remains separate.
Changing the default Page Theme or Pad Theme changes every entry that is using the journal default. An entry with its own Background or Pad choice keeps that individual override.
Journal Covers can also be managed in the iOS and Android apps. Journal font defaults, Page Themes, and Pad Themes can only be managed on the full website. Page and Pad Themes require Pro or Pro+.
A Journal Cover, Page Theme, and Pad Theme are different from the account-level UI Theme that changes the overall Penzu website.
